Students of a creative higher education institution: values of education in the context of challenges of the XXI century

The article deals with the problems and prospects for the formation of value orientations among students of creative universities. The issues related to the education of young people in the framework of the university educational process are outlined. The authors note the role of historical consciousness, consider the philosophy of consumerism, which is associated with consumerism and sociocultural amorphism. It is noted that during the period of study at the university it is important to form humanistic and patriotic values among students. The article emphasizes the need for both special attention to student associations, communities, meetings, as well as a special understanding of the problems of education in the conditions of creative universities. Particular attention should be paid to the provisions of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated November 9, 2022 No. 809 “On Approval of the Fundamentals of State Policy for the Preservation of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values”, which highlights social risks from ideological and psychological impact on Russian citizens. In this context, there is an ambiguity in the excessive aiming of students at a career, and not at “serving” the Fatherland, inattention to the topic of patriotism. A special place is given to personnel policy among the scientific and pedagogical staff as the core of all educational work at the university.
