The article deals with the analysis of the modern studies of the issue of the professional self-development of the personality. There are defined the components of the professional self-development of the teacher of the professional training. There is given the author's definition of the concept “the readiness of the future teacher of the professional training to the professional self-development”. The author defines the component composition of the structure of the readiness of the future teacher of the professional training to the professional self-development.
