The article presents an attempt to analyze the essential characteristics of vocational thinking of a future choreography teacher based on the research of the scientific and pedagogical experience. The author summarizes the basic approaches of the modern pedagogical thought to the formation of vocational thinking of future choreography teachers based on the comparative analysis of general pedagogy, pedagogy of creativity and choreographic pedagogy. The psychological and pedagogical conditions of the process of formation of vocational thinking of future choreography teachers in the university educational process are described and proved. The key aspects of the potential of formation of vocational thinking of students - future choreography teachers in the university educational process are under consideration in the article.
