In a modern, rapidly developing society, it is important to be able to adapt to rapidly changing conditions in professional activity. This is relevant for law enforcement officers, as they carry the function of protecting the individual, society, and the state from illegal encroachments. Moreover, due to the specific nature of production activities, the ability to adapt to the norms and established traditions in the team is of decisive importance when considering the professional suitability of an employee. Since individual-typological features are the basis of the personality structure, they can influence a person's activity and behavior, including the development of adaptability. Therefore, when selecting adaptive employees for law enforcement agencies, it is important to pay attention to the temperament, character and abilities of the candidate. The article reflects the results of a scientific study of the relationship between adaptability and individual-typological personality traits of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. A theoretical analysis of the concepts of adaptability and individual-typological personality traits is presented. The research methods used are described, the sample is characterized. The results of the empirical study are presented, which reflect the relationship between adaptability and individual-typological personality traits of the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs using the Pearson criterion.
