Technical and artistic creativity of students in the system of secondary general and extended education in Republican Center of Education

In the context of the changes in the federal state educational standard, it is necessary to involve students in creative activities for the development of their personality, construction of knowledge, creativity, independence. We consider the use of information and communication technologies as a means of increasing interest in technical and artistic creativity. The use of ICT in handicraft classes is especially relevant in the conditions of distance learning. We use iMovie video editor as a tool. This article shows the possibilities of using iMovie video editor in project activities at lessons and extracurricular handicraft classes. We have given the examples of projects implemented with the use of iMovie video editor. By means of this program students learn how to edit a video file, overlay sound and various effects. This makes the process of working on the project fascinating.
