The article deals with the technological approaches to designing of the content of academic subjects in the higher school. The authors consider the principles of curriculum development for Physics course in the framework of the system-activity approach. The paper presents the structure of the training manual as a training simulator of the new generation helping students to organize their individual independent extracurricular work on studying physics at the maritime university.
