The article demonstrates that the technology of the global simulations is an efficient way of rising the students’ motivation at the lessons of the Russian language as a foreign language. There is revealed the essence of the concepts “motive” and “motivation” relating to the methodological paradigm of the Russian language as a foreign language. The author describes in details the technologies of the global simulations and the potential of its usage.
