Technology of food balm based on Baikal herbs

Currently, the range of balsams based on medicinal plants is expanding, the quantitative and qualitative composition is changing. These natural drinks have a wide range of nutritional and health benefits. Medicinal plants belonging to the State Pharmacopoeia and the State Register and growing in the Republic of Buryatia were used to develop balsam. Various combinations of 18 plants were considered, on the basis of which 5 variants of balms were modeled. The developed solution is technological. The composition of the optimal balsam sample includes 8 components. Safety indicators comply with the requirements of GOST. Thus, the complex application of herbal ingredients containing a variety of biologically active substances together makes it possible to obtain a new balsam with a specified composition and properties with high organoleptic characteristics. Balsam technology does not require additional labour-intensive preparation of plant raw materials, which simplifies and reduces the labor intensity of the process.
