Technology of task-based language teaching (TBLT) in the technical university

The article deals with the analysis of the foreign scientific information sources where there is illustrated the technology of the task-based language teaching (TBLT). There is given the detailed characteristics of the technology, there is described the usage of the technology at the practical classes of the foreign language in the technical university. The technology of TBLT can be successfully used in the nonlinguistic universities as one of the components of the communication and activity approach for the formation of the foreign communicative competencies.
