Theme of the pastoral care in the prose of R.P. Kumov and F.D. Kryukov

The article deals with the creative exchange of R.P. Kumov and F.D. Kryukov in the pre-October period of the writer’s creative work. There are analyzed the images of the churchmen in the prose of Kumov and Kryukov. There are established the structure-forming motives of the images of the Orthodox Christian priests. The author reveals the different approaches of the writers to the description of the Russian church life.
