The idea of filial piety in quadrisyllabic idioms in the Korean language

The presented article is devoted to the quadrisyllable Korean idioms about filial piety. Author gives three definitions of Korean hieroglyphic idioms and explains the differences in their treatment.The article considers five quadrisyllable idioms about the filial piety. Filial piety in Korea is one of the most actual topics that attract much attention of researchers. Presented phraseological expressions illustrate the exemplary behavior of children towards their parents.Their analysis includes hieroglyphic composition and explains the meaning, origination story and the example of idioms usage in Koreans’ everyday life. The article is for the audience interested in the Korean language and culture as well as peculiarities of the idiomology of Korean language.
