Theoretical Aspects of Sports Resources Management

Today, sports finance, infrastractural, innovative provision is an urgent problem and a necessary condition for sports development in accordance with the priorities set by the Government of the Russian Federation. A resource-oriented approach allows for strategic management in the field of sports, thereby improving the efficiency of managing the country’s socio-economic development. The purpose of this work is to identify an effective management approach aimed at growing the sports industry, enhancing the efficiency and competitiveness of the economy of the region. As a result of the research, the approaches to applying the definition of sports resource management in the scientific sources were identified and systematized. A scheme that reflects the scholarly treatments of the role and place of sports resources in the system of economic relations highlighted in strategic management in the field of sports industry and physical culture and sports was composed.
