Theoretical and legal features of pedagogical modeling methods in the professional training of employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation

Increased risks and threats of terrorist orientation, as well as the general instability of thesocio-political situation, require the formation of special professional competencies from law enforcementofficers, which implies the need to use the most progressive and effective methods and approaches tothe organization of a professional training system. Modeling is one of these methods. The method ofmodeling professional training differs in that it allows employees of internal affairs agencies to developautomatic reactions to individual situations, as a result of their repeated training in conditions close toreal ones. In addition, the time for making difficult decisions is reduced, which is especially important ina situation of a difficult operational shutdown. The development of such reactions is possible withregular improvement of professional level and competence, including using the modeling method.
