Theoretical basis for the development of psychological and pedagogical technology of preventing juvenile delinquent behaviour

Introduction. The problem of preventing juvenile delinquent behaviour is under study. The objective of the article is to develop and give theoretical foundations for the structural components of the psychological and pedagogical technology of preventing juvenile delinquent behaviour. Маterials and Methods. For theoretical explanation of the components of the psychological pedagogical technology of preventing juvenile delinquent behaviour the author employed the analysis of legal, pedagogical and psychological scientific literature; analysis of legal regulatory acts; systematization of personal experience in individual consultations on prevention problems (258 people), group work with juveniles (72 people) in the system of school, extramural and higher education. Results and Discussion. A technology to prevent juvenile delinquent behaviour has been developed, for this purpose the author analyzed its theoretical basis and described its structural elements. The paper reveals theoretical aspects of organizing prevention measures and the goal of the process of preventing juvenile delinquent behaviour. Conclusions. Technology for preventing juvenile delinquent behaviour focuses on the formation of juvenile ability to counteract criminogenic influence of the environment as well as inner situational impetus. The technology consists of five stages: legal informing; actualization of emotionally important persons and objects; formation of negative emotional attitude to an offence; informing about peculiarities of non-legal punishment for unlawful actions; formation of abilities to anticipate the consequences of committing unlawful actions.
