This article explores the theoretical foundations of the representation of socio‑cultural reality in the art of the Lianozovo School. It examines key aspects related to the formation and transformation of socio‑cultural reality in the Soviet context of the 1950s–1960s, as well as the artistic practices of the Lianozovo group. The study analyzes the influence of socio‑cultural conditions on the development of unofficial art in the USSR, with particular attention paid to the critical approach adopted by the artists and poets of the group, and their pursuit of an alternative reality through abstraction, irony, and symbolism. The article identifies the core principles of artistic representation and considers the role of art in the transformation of socio‑cultural norms and values. Objective of the research is to analyze socio-cultural reality through the lens of artistic reflection of the Lianozovo school and investigate its contribution to cultural resistance against Soviet ideology.
