The theoretical foundations for training research teachers in a classical university in the information society

The problem of formation of teachers’ competencies in the field of research activities, which are necessary for the analysis of the dynamics of the educational process, the pedagogical conditions for developing the students’ personalities and the assessment of education quality, is actualized. The theoretical foundations and approaches to the organization of experimental work with students in the context of their preparation for pedagogical activity are revealed. The criteria of the effectiveness of training teachers-researchers in the process of higher education in a classical university are substantiated.
