The research examines the factors in human cognitive activity due to the intensified negative trends in the modern education system and the fact that providing educational services is a substitute for education that creates the image of a person. An attempt is made to determine the place of active non-adaptivity in the system of the personality’s cognitive activity factors. The concept of active non-adaptivity is defined in modern personology as a goal setting motivated by the unpredictable result of its experience. The research highlights that there is no negative connotation in determining active non-adaptivity. Its goal is to increase cognitive capacities of the personality. The emphasis is placed on identifying the suprasituational and cognitive activity. The author compares such factors as mastering the knowledge, memorizing without thinking, memorizing accompanied by thinking, and forgetting. The author assumes that active-non-adaptivity is one of the factors in cognitive activity.
