The present study provides a theoretical analysis of pedagogical experience related to the problem of including museum environment in the system of early childhood (preschool) arts education. There is given insight of such concepts as “museum”, “museum environment”, “arts education”, “online museum”, “media technologies”, “media resources”, “interactive museum”, “mini-museum”, “collecting”, “play techniques”, “quest games”, “children’s project”, “route sheets”, “children’s guidebooks”, “didactic books”, “workbooks” in relation to preschool educational organization. The study identifies options, technologies and methods of including museum environment in the system of arts education of preschool children. There are also determined the mechanisms of interaction between preschool educational institutions and social partners. The content of directions of cooperation between the subjects of a single “museum and pedagogical community” is revealed. The author comes to conclusion that it is necessary to conduct further systemic and holistic study of the present topic within the framework of a scientific theory.
