Theoretic construct of charisma as a social- psychological phenomenon: research concepts

The author of the article pays attention to the topicality of the problem of charisma in Russian and foreign psychology. The author points out the fact that the psychological peculiarities of a charismatic personality is normally interpreted contextually, i.e. within the framework of studying other, related themes, for example, in the context of leadership psychology problems, psychology of interpersonal relationships, career success, psychology of the crowd, psychology of groups, organizational psychology, psychology of business, authority, power, attraction, vanity, conceit, domination, etc. The article names the main determinants of charisma origination. It studies the basic patterns of charisma researched by I. Schiffer, presents the point of view of M. Wever, who believed success was the most important factor for a charismatic leader and uncovers the concept of "charismatic circle" developed by M. Weber.
