The article deals with the issue of the development of the students' organization and management skills, providing the joint decision of the translation tasks of the different types, that is topical as the result of the enlargement of the spectrum of the professional functions of the linguist-translator. The author defines the essence and structure of the readiness of the written translator to the teamwork, there is established the methodological basis of the organization of the joint activity of the students in the process of teaching translation.
