The article enlightens the problem and some theoretical and methodological prerequisites of formation of an intellectually mature person within the framework of acmeological approach to the development of a person. The author defines the complex of values, criteria and indicators of intellectual maturity of a student's personality basing on the peculiarities of educational environment at the institutions of higher learning.
