The research focuses on the possibilities of testing while assessing engineering graphics training of university students. The study deals with the quality assessment of education in a particular area when achieving overall vocational learning outcomes. These outcomes include the development of students’ professional competence and the acquisition of specific knowledge, skills, and abilities by them. The authors consider the advantages and disadvantages of the 2018 Federal Internet Exam in Vocational Education. This test is a tool for monitoring the quality of engineering graphics training of engineering students in their professional development. The authors conclude that both test base and testing procedure should be enhanced. Testing can be regarded as a didactic strategy implemented through the high-quality selection of didactic materials.
