Vietnam is considered one of the countries heavily affected by climate change. Therefore, the top priorities are managing natural disasters and implementing activities to respond to and adapt to climate change to reduce its negative impacts. The article focuses on studying the awareness of local authorities in some provinces in the North Central of Vietnam about the causes, severe effects of climate change, and the response measures. After that, the author makes some recommendations to raise awareness for officials in this region and Vietnam.
