Since the days of Uzbekistan's independence, great changes have taken place in all spheres of our society. As a result of such changes, the issue of educating young people as harmoniously developed people is becoming more important than ever. From this point of view, in order to bring up our youth as mature people in all respects, we must first know the psychological features of their thinking. In this regard, the most important task is to form and educate the minds of people, especially young people, on the basis of enlightenment. Indeed, the demand of the present is to form a spiritually mature, well-rounded, knowledgeable, independent-minded person.

When we look at all the stages of human development, it is impossible not to realize the role and importance of spirituality in the life and development of society. Because in it the human psyche finds its expression in the values and traditions inherent in man. Values, customs, traditions, which are an important part of spirituality - these are not spontaneous, but are inextricably shaped and formed by human-specific spiritual experiences. From ancient times, spirituality, based on the knowledge, skills and abilities acquired by man, has become a heritage, values that are valuable to society, and has become the basis for meeting their lives and needs. Society has passed on to future generations events and things that are valuable to it, as values and heritage, which in turn have enriched and supplemented it with new aspects, preserved important aspects for their lives and passed on to future generations as values and heritage. Thus, depending on the environment and conditions in which they live, humanity has enriched its spirituality on the basis of natural laws and rules, customs and traditions. Spiritual factors have determined the possibilities and levels of development of society through the penetration into the human mind and its activity at all times. That is why advanced thinkers have always linked the specific nature of man with spirituality, and have seen that his perfection is associated with the development of spiritual factors. It should be noted that "Spirituality" is a phenomenon that has a broad and deep meaning as a social philosophical concept. That is why he was evaluated differently at different times and the relationship is shown. For example, the Russian philosopher N. Berdyaev understood "spirituality" as a supernatural, divinely given phenomenon. Spirituality is assessed as “the highest achievements of man, the highest qualities are values” (2. 11). Such unique definitions have been given by modern scientists. For example, “Spirituality is a concept that integrates the inner life, spiritual experiences, mental abilities, and perceptions of a society, a nation, or an individual.” Spirituality and a fixed emotional world ”(3. 14).

Progress, change, movement, renewal in society are always reflected in spirituality. Spiritual change leads humanity to move forward, to make their life, their way of life more beautiful and harmonious. Spiritual achievements lead a person to happiness, to a sense of satisfaction from their activities.

The importance of spirituality in society, people and human life has long been known and studied by many people. For example, the Chinese philosopher believes in the teachings of Confucius that spirituality is the only criterion that leads man into the human form. Morality, which is the foundation of spirituality, is the basic criterion of humanity in the human race. The progressive thinkers of the society who studied spirituality paid attention to spirituality and showed that immorality is the main cause of human degradation, the destruction of society.

Spirituality and the need for it are of great importance in the development of society in uniting the youth, in general, all the peoples living in this country in the interests of this society. Spirituality is related to such aspects as people's self-awareness, their sense of place in society, and their realization that they are a part of that society. A self-aware person always strives for spirituality and demands the same of others. Because of spirituality, a person experiences certain emotional and psychological states. Suppose the processes of sorrow, joy, pride, thinking, imagination, contemplation, willpower, attention to certain events, the processes associated with character, all these are connected with spirituality, with the processes that take place in it. Man as a whole shows his attitude to the processes that take place through his spiritual experiences. Based on the above considerations, it can be said that

The role and importance of spiritual processes in human development and the development of society is incomparable. Nothing can replace it. Spirituality brings to the human heart incomparable joy, happiness, rejoicing, pride. A spiritually rich person has always been respected and esteemed, and with his spirituality he has attracted others to become spiritual. This situation arises from these thoughts. First, spirituality is related to man and his state of mind. Second, spirituality is an inexhaustible wealth that gives man strength and power and makes him perfect. The human psyche is nourished by spirituality, draws strength, and creates the world it needs for itself.

The concept of spirituality is now one of the topics that is widely studied and given various definitions. In particular, "Spirituality - human morality and ethics, knowledge, talent, ability, practical skills, conscience. It is a common system of beliefs, convictions, worldviews, and ideological views, which are inextricably linked and have a positive impact on the development of society. ”(7.55)

Spirituality is inconceivable without the human psyche, the socio-psychological processes of society. Spirituality enriches a person with new experiences and feelings. The experiences of the spiritually rich human psyche cannot be compared to anything. In a spiritually rich person, feelings and experiences for the Motherland, its land, nation, people have always been a socio-psychological feeling in a person. Patriotism evokes a sense of nationalism. The connection between a person and an emotion is directly and inextricably linked to his beliefs, ideas and goals. It is obvious that a person's spiritual wealth and his needs as a socio-psychological process are reflected in a system of motives: a) the primary idea of the ideal need b) the social need to live, i.e. to act for the benefit of other people. Spirituality is in harmony with sincerity and is expressed in the form of a person’s warm attitude towards the people around him, care, attention, willingness to help, empathy for joy and sorrow. Spirituality manifests itself in the individual as knowledge of the world, self-awareness, understanding of the meaning of life, and finding one's place in life ”(6.98). The spiritual factors of social development and human perfection have not always been on the same level. Therefore, the positive processes that take place in the life of society should always be associated with the level of spirituality of people. Man is influenced by his activities based on social, economic, political processes, spiritual factors in society. In the process of rapid spiritual growth, the opportunities for the development of society expand. This is one of the important laws of social life and human perfection.
