В статье анализируется затяжной конфликт в Тибете, анализируются отношения конфликтующих сторон и развитие самого конфликта на протяжении многих лет. Исследуются предмет конфликта, границы и субъекты, участвующие в конфликте. Также приведен пример попытки вмешательства мировых акторов в конфликт в Тибете. В статье разъясняются причины восстаний, самосожжения и экономических условий в Тибете. Представлен прогноз на будущее Тибета, а также основные трудности урегулирования конфликта.
