Types of professional motivation and features of aggressiveness

Professional motivation is one of the factors of the effectiveness of labor activity, its infiuence can be indirect and manifest itself in the formation of stable unfavorable conditions and characteristics of the employee. There are types of professions whose content makes special demands on the emotional state of the professional and the ability to control it. The article describes a study aimed at analyzing the characteristics of the manifestation of aggression in workers with external and internal motivation of professional activity. Propensity to aggressive reactions is considered as a factor of decline in production efficiency in certain types of work and the criterion of professional selection. The differences in the prevailing types of aggression and personality characteristics that restrain it have been analyzed in subjects with different types of motivational complexes. The directions of psychological and pedagogical work with aggression are described at the stage of mastering the profession.
