Silence as a means of the creation of the artistic space in the works of A.A. Akhmatova

The article deals with the silence as an allegoric and metaphoric image modelling an individual textological and semantic space, the significance of which increases from “The Beads” to “The White Flock”. There is demonstrated that there is observed the transformation of the image of silence - from the impossibility and unwillingness of speaking to the description and characteristics of the historical events. The space of silence allows to destroy the boundaries of the habitual time and topos.
