The problem of tutorship as a special kind of mentorship in the process of professional training is discussed. On the basis of discovered contradictions authors’ vision of tutors typology in the specifics of MIDiS is proposed. Tasks and functions of tutors typology with respect to students types are proved within system thinking and activity approach. Organization structure of tutor’s support for first year students in studying special subject “General Management Training” is schematically represented. Authors’ view on the structure and contents tutor’s personal qualities providing successful tutor’s support in training first year students is proposed.
