“The point of no return”: betrayal in the structure of the plots of the native prose for adolescents

The article deals with the analysis of the peculiarities of the fictional representation of the phenomenon of betrayal based on the native prose for adolescents. The plot situation of betrayal causes a heated conflict and triggers the mechanism of reevaluation of the principal character in the regime of the intensive accommodation (the chronotope of disaster) and the heightened distressful reflection in the psychological stories “Scarecrow” by V. Zheleznikov (1981), “The written works” by V. Yakimenko (1981) and “Don’t betray me!” by T. Miheeva (2012).
