“Toxic” teacher: the features of the destructive communicative behavior

The article deals with the linguistic means and the ways of the destructive communication, practiced by a “toxic” teacher in the vertical (teacher - student) and horizontal (teacher - teacher) types of cooperation. Toxicity in the pedagogical discourse relates with the display of the physical and psychological violence. Destructiveness and toxicity are the interdependent phenomena: toxicity is implemented in the destructive communicative behavior; the destructive communication is the marker of the “toxic” teacher.
