In the paper the author gives attention to a special kind of bribery, the purpose of which is assignment of the briber for the service position in the government. Analyzing the legislation, it has been concluded about necessity to criminalize trading in influence in accordance with Article 12 of the Criminal Law Convention on Corruption (ETS 173)
