Transformation of value orientations: socio-pedagogical aspect

The article discusses the relevant issues of youth's value system development in the context of the acutest spiritual crisis. The author believes that education plays the key role in the formation of humanistic values in the representatives of the modern youth, despite the negative trends that are taking place nowadays in the Russian educational system (unpopular measures of reformation, reduction of funding, withdrawal or reduction of hours to study the humanities, and so on).
