The article deals with the transformation of the construct of corporeality in the sphere of variety art. Based on the social and cultural concept of corporeality by I. M. Bykhovskaya, the author analyzes the features of the phenomenon of corporeality in natural, social and cultural demonstrations. From this point of view, we assess the nature of changes in the axiosphere of variety art and the aesthetics of the performer's self-presentation. The author highlights the tendency to variability and blurring the boundaries of normativity in the construction of corporeality in the context of mass culture, in particular in the sphere of variety art. It is the symbolism of the "cultural body" as a combination of natural and social that becomes the complete image of the artist on the stage.
