The article deals with the phenomenon of anthropocentric technologies used in modern communication practices and public political discourse in order to deform the cultural and mental matrices and to destroy the national and cultural identity. Authors observe the question of the use of covert practices of the mind control by the method of double exposure as well as the possibility of exerting operational influence upon the quality, reproduction and amount of different aspects of social life and specific activities using the informational and manipulative technology. This refers us to the discourse on the axiological foundations of the Russian cultural identity, "Russian matrix", came through scientific publications of recent years. In contradistinction from the current theories which are to neutralize and discriminate the idea of the «Russian world» as the dominant ideological concept in modern Russia, it concluded that Russian cultural and historical tradition created the civilization type, which shows not only the viability, but also is able to offer a direction of development in modern society after the collapse of the communist ideology.
