The article deals with the topical issue of the transformation of teaching methods as the components of the technology of the activity of the modern teacher. the analysis of the native and foreign researches allowed to reveal the tendency of the transformation of the teaching methods that allow to extend the pedagogical influence by the means of their adaptation to the new digital educational environment. The generalization of the results of the surveys and educational practices shows the necessity and prospects of the constant change of the teaching methods as the basis of the technification of the work of the modern teacher.
