The author examines the processes of transformation of the motivation system of industrial enterprises in conditions of economic turbulence and sanctions pressure. The relevance of the study is due to the need to revise traditional approaches to employee motivation due to the loss of effectiveness of classical incentive tools in the new economic realities. The complex negative impact of sanctions on the material and non-material aspects of staff motivation has been revealed. The author’s definition of the motivation system for the personnel of a manufacturing enterprise is formulated. The concept of a new motivation system based on the principles of adaptability, sustainability and an integrated approach has been developed. Innovative incentive tools are proposed, in particular, the concept of “workplace wellness”. The results obtained allow us to conclude that it is necessary to switch from classical bonus systems to comprehensive motivation programs that combine long-term financial incentive tools with a well-developed system of psychological support for employees. The practical significance of the research lies in the development of specific recommendations for the formation of sustainable personnel motivation systems adapted to work in conditions of economic turbulence.
