The publication discusses the advantages and disadvantages of using gamification in education. Gamification is considered as a tool for motivating educational activities of modern students. It is noted that in the context of e-learning, there are ample opportunities for the implementation of game mechanisms to encourage independent mastering of educational material and practical skills.
