Triad "image-method-style" in the interpretation of piano music: towards the construction of a universal theory of performance

Бесплатный доступ

The performing interpretation of piano music works is subject to certain laws. All of them can be reduced to one generalizing formula: the basis of the piano performance interpretation is the triad "image-method-style". Its basic meaning for the process of performing interpretation and analytical operations with musical text is complemented by the triad "General-particular-whole", which has an "instrumental" character. Piano performance and the interpretation of piano works can be the basis for the creation of a unified theory of the performing arts.
