Tourism as an economic multiplier

This scientific article explores the role of tourism as an economic multiplier. The article examines how tourist expenditures impact the economy through direct, indirect, and induced effects. It provides a definition of the concept of "tourism multiplier." Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of domestic participation and financing by international companies, as well as the analysis of multiplier effects for understanding the impact of tourism on economic development.
