Today, in the context of the change in the post-Soviet education system, there is a problem of organizing additional entrance tests, including in creative universities, in order to open information on the requirements for creative entrance tests and criteria for evaluating ex-amination works. The authors of the article analyzed the programs of creative entrance tests on the composition of seven leading universities of the country, carrying out professional training of future architects and designers. On the basis of the analysis, methodological approaches to the formulation of tasks of the creative entrance test on the composition have been identified, evaluation criteria and examination volume have been identified.
