The creative legacy of Nikolai Gumilevas a subject of culture philosophical reflection

Бесплатный доступ

The irreducibility of N.S. Gumilev’s creative heritage exclusively to the cumulative aspect becomes obvious when understanding his poetry as “the subjective diversity of a literary text” (Y.M. Lotman). The thematic diversity of poetic creativity provides the basis for interdisciplinary discourse, including the modality of cultural philosophical reflection. The expediency of the culture philosophical understanding of the creative heritage of Nikolai Gumilev is due to a number of meaningful moments associated with the extraordinary personality of the poet and the specifics of the experience of manifesting the ideal of “fullness of being” based on the harmonization of the values of life and cultural values. In light of this, it is appropriate to turn to those aspects of Gumilev’s work that are inseparable from the cultural context of the Silver Age, from the inherent energy of spiritual quest and the “boom” of artistic experimentation. Hence the legitimacy of the disclosure of Gumilyov’s “impressionism of thought” (V.S. Solovyov) through the prism of acmeism, which took a prominent place in the poetic polylogue of the first decades of the twentieth century.
