Academic abstract within the final exam in foreign (Russian) language in the military-technical university

The study shows the possibility of using the academic abstract as one of the forms of integrated control of language knowledge, speech and communication skills in the structure of the final exam in the discipline "Foreign Language" (Russian) at a military-technical university. The abstract here refers to the result of systematic work organized by the teacher and prepared by the students on the collective-individual topic "Terminology and composition of educational and scientific research", which is presented to the examination commission in the form of a written text and an oral presentation according to results of the study. The Commission assesses the written and oral scientific and educational speech of the cadet, as well as his ability to answer questions and justify his opinion in conducting the discussion. The realization at such form of final control of such fundamental pedagogical installations as professional orientation of training, competence-based approach to him, communicative and text centered principles of learning work with linguistic material is proved.
