Accounting age features as a condition of pedagogical supply for first-year students’ adaptation in a multi-level educational complex

The paper substantiates the role of successful adaptation of first-year students in mastering their future profession. The age-related features of college and university students, their influence on the course of adaptation processes are revealed. The personal characteristics of students as representatives of a special social group are characterized. Particular attention is paid to the system of value orientations in a given age period, as well as to the main forms of interpersonal communication and behavior. The features of students' value orientations, their significance and degree are revealed. The results of the study of the value orientations of first-year students of Penza State Technological University (level of HE) and the Technological College, which is part of the multi-level educational complex of PenzGTU, are highlighted. The analysis of the data is carried out. Recommendations are formulated on the pedagogical supply of successful socio-psychological and educational-professional adaptation of first-year students to the educational environment of a multi-level educational organization, taking into account the age characteristics of students.
