Teacher's environment as one of the components of regional studies specialists formation in Penza and Tambov provinces in the second half of XIX - beginning of XX centuries

For the first time in the article the analysis of social structure, educational and cultural levels of provincial teachers as a specific social milieu is presented. Also the article shows their role in the formation of historic regional studies in Penza and Tambov provinces in the second half of XIX, and at the beginning of XX centuries. The given process is illustrated by historic and pedagogic activity of V.F. Hokhryakov, V.A. Aunovsky and P.I. Piskarev
