The article deals with solution of the problem of provision of population with high quality dairy products on the basis of implementation of the management system of safety of food production and its further monitoring based on principles stated in the State Standard and International Organization for Standardization 22000-2007. The methods of efficiency estimation of implementation and support of the management system of safety of food production are analyzed.
