The issue of researching the level of developing doctors’ pedagogical thinking who work as lecturers in medical universities of higher education is considered. The author’s interpretation of the notion «pedagogical thinking» is offered and its definition is given. The parallels between the level of pedagogical thinking development and productivity of pedagogical activity are drawn. The content of ascertaining experiment is described. The experiment lets identify the level of pedagogical thinking development of doctors who work as lecturers in medical institutions of higher education.
