Ecological and economic training of production managers is in line with the humanistic principles of modernized professional education, the main postulate of which proclaims the need to invest in human capital and intelligence that create national well-being. Integrative ecological and economic training of production managers will be the key to overcoming the global economic crisis associated with the critical state of the environment. It is necessary to make every effort in the scientific, psychological and pedagogical spheres to improve traditional methods and introduce innovative technologies that are focused on the formation of ecological and economic readiness of a production manager for professional activity, a new type of ecological and economic orientation of a specialist’s personality, whose management decisions set the vectors of further balanced ecological and economic development of a specific industrial region. In the system of professional education of production managers, integrative processes 12 play an important role, since they allow combining knowledge, skills from different scientific fields (areas), academic disciplines necessary for successful work in this position (for effective production management).
