The poultry processing industry is one of the most important in providing the population with high quality food. The efficiency of the poultry processing enterprises is determined by the degree of equipment with technological machines and means of mechanization of auxiliary processes. Their technical level, reliability, specific technical and economic indicators. The variety of technical operations in the primary processing of poultry predetermines the need to use a wide range of technical machines, devices, units and mechanized flow lines. To humanize the slaughter of poultry by suppressing their sensitivity to pain, eliminating injuries to poultry, complete exsanguination and obtaining high quality meat, a pre-slaughter technological process called stunning is used. For these purposes, various apparatus designs are used. The disadvantages of these devices include: uneven stunning of different poultry individuals within one processed batch; the possibility of dropping feces into the water increases and, therefore, this leads to an increase in bacterial contamination of the surface of carcasses; large overall dimensions of devices for electric jamming. Therefore, an apparatus is proposed that improves the quality of poultry processing and shortens the duration of the electric stunning process. Such a device can be manufactured at any enterprise that performs simple technological operations associated with the mechanical and thermal treatment of metals.
