The work considers increasing the coefficient of double operations as one of the ways to improve the efficiency of using rolling stock in the transportation of goods. The possibility of double operations with wagons is laid at the stage of transportation planning. The planning task is practically implemented using the Dynamic Model of Loading of the Infrastructure of JSC Russian Railways (DMZI). The technological cycle of transportation planning is presented, which provides for the possibility of double operations with wagons.
