The proper balance of rations with the available local fodders application is the base of the rational management of dairy cattle breeding. The chemical composition of fodders prepared on farms of Vologda region has been analyzed, and the calculation of provision with regulated feeding elements has been made, the analysis of the cows supplying with the nutrients has been performed as well
